Here is some good advice for writing a dissertation that your committee will enjoy reading. The same advice applies as when you were preparing your proposal for the Committee to review. You need to make it appealing to read. This takes time and hard work. Writing does not come easy to most students. You are almost finished at this point. So take the time to end on a high note. Here are some tips in writing your dissertation.

> Use a standard organizational framework to format the dissertation text.

> Keep the text concise and to the point.

> Use tables to present and illustrate your findings.

> Consider including graphs if they add to the comprehension of the findings.

> Have your dissertation read by an independent reviewer.
